COMMITTEE OBJECTIVES
- To plan and execute the Businesswoman of the Year Awards Nomination Process
- To work in partnership with the BYA Gala Committee
WHAT WE DO
- Responsible for opening and promoting the nominations for the BYAs
- Coordinate the composition of five Selection Committees.
- Perform conflict of interest checks for nominees
- Select the 15 Finalists and confidentially inform them of their selection
- The committee works with the WBN Administration to develop a social media campaign to bring in Nominations for the Awards
COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Committee meetings are held monthly at a minimum and depending on the project timeline for the nomination and selection process, the meetings may be more frequent. Reach out to the BYA Nominations Committee if you’re interested in understanding the committee when volunteering.
