1. In one sentence, please, describe your business.
I’m a Realtor who focuses on helping my senior clients and their families through the process of buying or selling one of their most cherished assets – their home.
2. What business advice would I give to my 20-year-old self?
Believe in yourself. You are strong willed; determined, smart and very capable of anything you set your head and heart to. Challenges that come your way are tests to see what you are really made of. Don’t shy away from them, face them head on and grow as you move forward. Stepping outside of your comfort zone may be painful, but it’s only temporary and it means you are growing. Nothing worth having in life is easy. Work hard, work smart and always stay true to who you are. Authenticity is the key. At the end of the day, regardless of what business you are in, people will be drawn to you, to your energy, to your spirit. And that must be authentic. So, head down, one foot in front of the other. Learn from every opportunity the universe is kind enough to send your way. Always give of yourself in all areas of your life and it will come back to you 10 fold.
3. People may be surprised to know that I have written and self-published a children’s story, named Sophie and Henry. It’s about a vegetarian snake and blind mouse. It’s a story about accepting people’s differences, not judging them by appearances, and that friends can be found in many unusual places.
I am a people person through and through. I immigrated to Canada as a child and the strong work ethic my parents instilled in me runs deep. I am a busy mother of two amazing kids and as we all know, if you want to get something done, give it to a busy person. I work hard so that you don’t have to. I have many years of experience providing excellent customer service to my clients. It truly is the reason I do what I do.
