Learn a little about Jenny:
1. In 140 characters describe your business.
I educate and empower fundraisers to raise more money for their organizations.
2. What’s the business advice you would give today to your 20 year old self?
Try stuff out! Go out there and be bold…and if you fall on your face, then pick yourself up and learn from the experience. Hitting 40 reminded me that we only get one trip on this planet. You might as well make it an interesting and rewarding journey. My role as a consultant in fundraising is great because I get to challenge the status quo in many organizations, and I get to push them out of their comfort zone. I just love the people that work in not-for-profit. I think they are amazing, and I am inspired every day by the work they do.
3. What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I have a doctorate degree in Piano Performance. I lived and worked for 11 years as a professional pianist in New York City, and I gave my Carnegie Hall debut performance in 2003.
