The Biz Studio
I help small business owners and solopreneurs who feel overwhelmed and stuck find the clarity they need to set the RIGHT goals for their businesses, figure out the actions they need to take to achieve those goals and get the support and accountability they need to stay on track.
I believe that you can love what you do, make money doing it, and still have time for a personal life. It all comes down to creating plans with intention, understanding what success looks like to you, and spending the time to stop what you’re doing for long enough to make sure you’re working towards the right goals .
What do you hope to give or receive from your membership in the WBN?
I love connecting with other incredibly inspiring women entrepreneurs – I learn so much by knowing them and watching all the incredible things they do in their businesses. I hope to do the same for others within the network.
What’s the business advice you would give today to your younger self?
You get to design what success looks like for you – don’t let what others expect you to do drive how you run your business. Figure out what you truly want to do and why, and your passion and dedication will shine through.
Who would be invited to your dream dinner party?
Leonie Dawson, Amy Porterfield, Marie Forleo, Danielle Laporte – basically a dinner party full of women who have been able to grow a business and a community online that support other women. Women who have created a whole new business model, figured out how to balance the lives they want with the business they want, or acknowledge when they’ve made wrong turns and are willing to share that with the world. Women who have incredible knowledge that could help me grow my business even further, and teach me how to support other businesswomen in doing the same.
While those are the first names that popped to mind, I think that I would be equally thrilled to be surprised with any mix of women who have built a business and life they truly want, and have done that without sacrificing too much to get there.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I can be really shy, especially in large networking situations, and always appreciate when people come up to me instead of me having to go up to them.
